Amanda Green
Property Manager

Amanda Green joined the Figure Eight Properties' team in October of 2013. She oversees leasing and property management for Wyndwood Apartments, Bishops Place Apartments, and Prospect West Apartments, with responsibilities including financial administration, lease administration, and marketing. Prior to joining Figure Eight, she worked for the Housing Authority.

Bruce Simons
Managing Partner

Bruce developed a national portfolio and brought decades of experience in overseeing owned assets and joint ventures. Adept at recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities at the top and the bottom of the market, Bruce puts the company’s capital to work developing and acquiring assets around the country. His high-level perspective has long helped investors avoid getting caught up in emotion when making strategic business decisions.

Cynthia Cao
Property Assistant

Cynthia joined Figure Eight Properties in 2016, specializing in marketing and customer service. Her background includes work with the Connecticut Renewal Team and freelance graphic design. She attended the College of the Holy Cross.

Harris Simons
Managing Partner

Harris has long believed that the status quo is not enough. His uncompromising approach drives him to continually look for ways to do better for the company’s real estate portfolio. Harris is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as overseeing marketing and leasing activities. He seeks to make Simons Real Estate the kind of partner that owners, investors, and national tenants seek out.

Jennifer Palacko
Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager for Figure Eight Properties, Jennifer Palacko oversees our accounting team in Connecticut and works directly with our Controller. Her responsibilities include managing staff accountants, reviewing financial packages, and coordinating with third-party owners. Jennifer joined the company in 1999 and holds a degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Len Zeng
Property Accountant

As a Property Accountant at Figure Eight Properties, Len's responsibilities include managing and recording financial transactions, preparing financial reports, budget analysis and forecast, managing accounts, and reconciliation. Len joined the company in July of 2023 and holds a degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Mariann Saltus
Controller

As Controller of Figure Eight Properties, Mariann oversees financial reporting, risk management, cash management, tax preparation, and 401K compliance. Under her technology leadership, Figure Eight Properties maintains its position at the forefront of industry technology, providing clients with unsurpassed reporting capabilities. She joined the company in 1992 and holds a degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Phoebe Ky
Leasing & Property Manager

As Leasing Manager at Figure Eight Properties, Phoebe oversees leasing in Farmington and West Hartford, including Town Center and Bishops Place. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, she served as Director of Real Estate at Loews Corporation, managing a national office and retail portfolio. Phoebe holds a BA from Amherst College and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College-Zicklin School of Business.

Steve Kindl
Leasing & Property Manager

Steve Kindl brings over 30 years of diverse real estate experience to Figure Eight Properties, including previous roles at Aetna Realty, John Hancock Real Estate, Lend Lease, and Cigna Realty. Since 2015, he manages and leases a diverse Connecticut portfolio, overseeing tenant relations, budgeting, financial administration, risk management, and strategic planning. Steve holds a degree in Accounting from UConn, an MBA in Finance from University of Hartford, and is a licensed CT real estate salesperson. Throughout his career, he has maintained memberships in ICSC, NMHA, REFA, and REIAC.

Tom Bergeron
Director of Property Management

Tom Bergeron has led Property Management at Figure Eight Properties since 1990, overseeing all Connecticut properties. He manages budgeting, leasing, finances, risk, maintenance, and long-term planning. A Bryant University graduate and CPA, he holds BOMA certifications and is a licensed CT real estate salesperson. He maintains active membership in several professional organizations including BOMA, NAA, and AICPA.

Tyana Sherman
Property Accountant

Tyana joined the company in 2021 and is a dedicated and reliable team member who handles both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for Figure Eight Properties. Known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail, she ensures that billing, collections, and payables run smoothly. Her experience and commitment makes her an essential part of our accounting team.
